How to Organize your Closet in Five Easy Steps

Getting your closet organized and clutter free can be a daunting task. Finding the right system to make your closet look nice and neat is one challenge in itself. Creating a scheme that will allow you to maintain order and efficiency is another task altogether. Accomplishing tasks such as these can be difficult for anybody, but success is attainable through the following five hassle free steps.

In the Denver/metro area- and it's probably no different in other major U.S. cities- many closet companies are now filling the void between the DIY systems and the expensive high-end custom closets. And some offer the many storage solutions I need.Getting your closet well organized and efficient can be accomplished in as few as five steps. It is a matter of knowing what you have, getting what you need, and being willing to solve problems that may come up in the process. Be sure to focus on function over form, and you will quickly have a closet that is clutter free and easily accessible.#2 Take InventoryProblem number 3- I would build something myself but am not much of a DIY guy. Even the nice kits that you can purchase at hardware stores seem to be beyond my skill level. In addition, I have medium-to-high blood pressure right now, so it's not in my best interest to attempt DIY projects!Problem number 4- I've looked at some of the custom closet designs and companies out there and I'm having a difficult time justifying spending the cash most of them are asking. So what to do?Problem number 2- I don't care much for the hanging shoe bags or the shoe racks. Quite honestly, I think the shoe slots on the hanging bags work better for spray paint cans out in the garage. (Not a bad idea, is it?!) And with the shoe racks I'm still not getting the floor space I need.Good taste of furniture is essential to make our house look attractive. The kind of painting determines easily what kind of furniture will be appropriate for the house.#4 Get Everything Out!For the ones who are interested in Home theatre of Home office, have to be extra careful so that, Home theatre and Home office do match to the rest of the furniture in your house. It was mentioned earlier that Home theatre or Office are optional for the only reason, that not every one is interested in having them. But yes, it is true that it does make a difference when you have them in the house. But it is also true, that your house still can be beautiful without them.

Getting your closet well organized and efficient can be accomplished in as few as five steps. It is a matter of knowing what you have, getting what you need, and being willing to solve problems that may come up in the process. Be sure to focus on function over form, and you will quickly have a closet that is clutter free and easily accessible.
